UB40 has set October 28 as the release date of their 25th studio record, TwentyFourSeven. Due out through Atco/Rhino Records, the disc features 17 tracks and guest appearances by Maxi Priest, 1 Love and Rasa Don of Arrested Development, Marvin Priest, and Hunterz.
According to a press release, "TwentyFourSeven takes inspiration from the political and social conscience, producing an album of original material, cover versions and collaborations." Covers include the Beatles' "I'll Be Back" and Bob Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff."
