Jarvis Cocker has confirmed his involvement with Wes Anderson's next film, a stop-motion animation adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Speaking to Time Out Chicago, Cocker said he's done "three, four songs, and some of that might become bits of the score." He then went on to explain the song Disney Time from his solo debut, Jarvis, and how it relates to the Anderson gig: "If you criticize Disney, the next step is 'do better.' I get the chance to do it myself and corrupt young minds."
In other Cocker news, the former Pulp frontman has a trio of tour dates coming up: tomorrow, July 19, at the Pitchfork Music Festival, Monday, July 21, at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg, and July 22 at New York's Terminal 5 venue.
